Well we managed to do it again… after whole month of torrential downpour, the skies cleared, the city got sweaty & officially ready to kick start Summer.  At the heart of Sydney’s CBD we joined forces with the successful laneway bar; Grasshopper over running the alley with grooving young things to present Arnette’s 2011 season. Finally baring legs and jumper-free torsos, girls and guys swaggered to the sounds of absolutely booming hip hop bouncing across the buildings & let the rest of the city know we were here to party. Fruity Fanta & Rum cocktails on entry entitled guests with a custom Arnette jam jar & worded up to keep a hold for the evening as we enforced a “No Jar, No Drink!” policy.

We could’ve been hanging in Brooklyn, everyone piled into the street amidst fire escapes, flickering neons, milk crates & air ducts with Levins & Captain’ Franco (Halfway Crooks) on the decks, hoots continually rose from the crowd and hands thrown above heads bouncing along to classic favourites – Bone Thugs, Public Enemy, Dre … da whoop!
All left with smiles & plenty to talk about. Here we come summer fun.
