Yesterday, May 11th, the inaugural Ghetto Juice Airshow went down at 54th Street in Newport Beach. The waves were small but the airs were massive and the competitors were stoked. There were some big names at the invite-only event such as Brother Andino, Nathan Fletcher, Rat Boy, Chippa Wilson and Chris Ward to name a few. Mason Ho (Hawaii), Aaron "Gorkin" Cormican (Florida), Chase Wilson, Jarred Cassidy, Ford Archbold and Tyler Gunter were all there representing Arnette and they made us proud.

Ford had a great showing and made it all the way to the semi-finals, but just couldn't get that last insane air to push him into the final. Mason and Gorkin went head-to-head in the final and finished 1st and 2nd respectively, with Mason taking home a $1,000 in cold hard cash for a sick backside 360 reverse. Afterwards Mason said, "I was stoked to get the invite and knew I could win this event and it will give me confidence headed to Brazil for the 6-Star Primes."

We're super stoked for Mason and Gorkin as they are always pushing the limits and progressing the sport of surfing.
