On both days the riders played the “Game of Out” on the Arnette marble ledge. As we knew from previous years, this takes some time because almost every rider was able to do every trick - hence we decided to turn it into a team competition. Every team had two riders and could decide by themselves who had to do the trick. At the end only Team Innsbruck (Raffael Kossmann and Tobi Hartmuth) and Team Mustachio (Eirik Nesse and Kas Lemmens) have been left. After playing for more than two hours they decided for a tie and split the prize money of 500 €.

Kas Lemmens was the most outstanding rider for sure, not only that he always was the first rider hitting the setup and the last one to leave, he also landed pretty much everything he tried. So it was no surprise that he was voted Best Rider Overall and cashed out 1000€ ontop of the team event. The decision for Best Trick was way harder because Eirik and Kas stomped some really hard tricks. At the end Kas Lemmens BS 270 Hardway to Fakie at the stair set got the most votes. Boom, another 500 € for Kas.

To finish things off, the Atagge Highest Ollie contest took place. Everybody could join this session, no matter if filmer, shaper, DJ... At the end the host Alex Tank himselftook home the wander trophy with a winning height of 95 centimeters.

Arnette and Head Snowboards joined forces to create a setup that was way bigger than anything the Jib Factory had seen before. All day long the guys were killing it in various sessions on the different obstacles. Check out the edit to see what went down!

Due to the bad weather on Wednesday the second event day had to be cancelled. As the Game of OUT was supposed to be finished on that day the prize money was split between the remaining riders.

After the voting it was official: one guy takes it all, Boris Bühler won the best trick and the best rider overall. After splitting the prize money for the Game of OUT between the last 6 guys, we had to decide who gets the trophy. Arm wrestling was on. At the end Dominik Wagner was victorious over a surprisingly strong Wessel van Lierop. It was a great event and we can´t wait for Jib Factory 2013.

We got stuck with our big 4 wheel drive wrangler. All this got recorded by the local TV-station and
Alex had to give an interview about what happened. Well, yes, seems like that is news in North-America.

Famous bangerspot with a bulletproof landing. Actually not only the landing was bulletproof, but
actually everything around...not fun.

So we had to buy these badboys. Alex's trying to smile as he knows that he has to dig some ice for a
couple of hours now...

Well, another blizzard that turns snow into ice pretty much results in this: beer'o'clock.

We went to the famous Red Ledge. Damn this thing was incredibly bitchy. It's all crooked and if
you don't commit completely to the stairs this thing spits you out every time. If you somehow made it
through the down part, there's still this nasty kink that hits your board like a sledgehammer.
Famous for a reason...well, and here's what happens when you commit too much. Alex is getting a
“stair massage” and a bruised hip.

Boardsliding this thing is nasty. Classic hang-up by Benny almost resulted in shoulder-dislocation.
We all got away lucky though. We'll be back...

The family is growing and we’re happy to have Benny Urban with us now. The 20 year old German has been around in the snowboarding world for quite a while and has already gained international recognition. Being a creative and motivated rider with versatile skills he’s always psyched to spend time shredding with his buddy and Arnette Team Rider Alex Tank. They will both film with the Isenseven crew this season and we can’t wait for the outcome.
In their “URBAN TANK DIARRHEA” Alex and Benny are going to post regularly while they hit the road together this winter. So stay tuned for more!

Only a couple weeks back, the winners of the Arnette ALL EYES ON ME Snow Rookie Project started touring through some of the Alps’ hot spots. They had a great time in the beautiful surroundings of Saas Fee and Laax, Switzerland and the Kaunertal glacier in Austria. Even some very bad weather at the beginning couldn’t keep them from having a lot of fun. But see for yourself. Felix Urbauer who was with the crew for the whole trip filmed and produced this nice video. Lean back and enjoy!

Tahoe’s own Nick Visconti is a cerebral snowboarder who creatively explores shredding through filming for Think Thank and producing online media segments for “Tahoe Dangerzone,” a video blog that documents his on-hill antics and experiments.  Nick has a larger-than-life personality and unique style, and he is a dedicated skateboarder.  When not holding it down in Tahoe, he can be found lurking in Venice Beach with the Arbor crew.

North Lake Tahoe’s Johnny Lazz is one of the funniest dudes you will ever meet.  He is loud, super talkative and doesn’t give a f%#k what other people think.  An all-terrain dominator who can slay backcountry lines and handrails equally well, Johnny loves to bend the rules and has been known to outrun ski patrol on more than one occasion.

A proud Vermonter with deep Killington roots, Niko Cioffi has a scrappy swagger and style all his own.  He is a founding member of Rutland’s GBP crew, and over the past few years he has spent winters in Truckee riding and filming with the Forum team.  With several impressive video parts already to his credit and a deep bag of tech tricks on lock, the future looks bright for this versatile Green Mountain shredder.

Tim Eddy is an Alpine Meadows local and total ripper.  When the flakes are flying he spends his days in the backcountry dropping cliffs and carving out ridiculous lines.  When summer rolls around he packs his bags and heads to High Cascade to keep the good times rollin’.  A self-proclaimed foodie with a sweet tooth, Tim’s mellow demeanor and positive attitude make him an awesome guy to hang out with.

Norwegian powerhouse Alek Ostreng charged onto the scene a few years back and has been making noise ever since.  A dedicated member of the Youngblood squad, Alek is a top competitor on the Winter Dew Tour and has been hard at work this season filming for the new Forum team video.  Whether big air or slopestyle, Alek is always smooth as butter and can throw down with the best of ‘em.

Alex Tank is a Euro jibbing machine with a super clean style who kills parks and rails like nobody’s business.  Arguably the best thing to come out of Germany since Heidi Klum and Oktoberfest, Alex rides with the Eye of the Tiger and absolutely destroys it every time he straps on his board.

Be on the lookout for Arnette’s snow team at a mountain near you as they will all be wearing the new Mercenary and Series 3 goggles, which are slated to hit shops Fall 2011.
