Team Kachinsky Wins Nike 6.0 BMX Pro

Last week the Nike 6.0 BMX Pro went down in Huntington Beach, CA, and Team Kachinsky took the victory. Led by Arnette riders Brian Kachinsky and Corey Martinez, along with Sean Sexton and videographer Will Stroud, Team Kachinsky beat out four other stacked teams to take the win and a check for $14,000. Looks like BK's time at The Bakery is really paying off...literally!

A new competition format debuted at this year's event which consisted of a combination live jam and filming contest. Each team featured three riders plus a videographer. Throughout the week the riders filmed on the course and collected some amazing footage. Two live jam sessions also took place, which impacted overall scores, but the final produced video held the most weight.

When it was said and done, the judging panel deemed Team Kachinsky the winners because they had the best overall crew vibe, their riding was the most creative, and the production quality of their video was unsurpassed. Nice work, fellas! To get the full story, click here.

Inside The Bakery with Corey Martinez

Last month Arnette team rider Brian Kachinsky opened his own private TF in Chicago called The Bakery. Over the past few weeks a bunch of heavy hitters have stopped by to get their shred on, resulting in some great content being cooked up.

BK's most recent visitor was Arnette teammate Corey Martinez who not only rips, but is hands down one of the raddest dudes in BMX. Check out Corey's "Baker's Dozen" edit featuring 13 bangers served up fresh for your viewing pleasure.

Brian Kachinsky Opens Chicago Bakery

Arnette team rider and all-around awesome dude, Brian Kachinsky, recently opened his own private indoor TF called The Bakery in his hometown of Chicago, IL.

Tired of getting kicked out of spots and suffering through brutal Chi-town winters, BK decided to take matters into his own hands. With help from his extended crew of friends and Nate Wessel from 4 Seasons Skatepark, BK and company designed and built a rad spot specifically geared toward authentic BMX street riding.

As BK puts it, “I love riding and have always dreamed of having a place to ride where all of my favorite things are in one place, and now that dream has come true. It’s a place to ride that’s out of the unfavorable weather and at my disposal 24/7. With the help of Wessel, Povah and many of my friends I was able to make it a reality and I’m really happy with the outcome. Now when my friends come to town, we’ll have a place to ride that’s not restricted to whatever might try to stop us from riding.”

Although The Bakery is not open to the general public, BMX riders from around the world can stay up to date on all park happenings by visiting the official website, Twitter page and Facebook.

Expect a lot of great content to be cooked up at The Bakery in the coming months as some heavy hitters will be making the rounds including Aaron Ross, Van Homan, Arnette teammate Corey Martinez, and many more.

Recently, our very own Corey Martinez won "Video part of the Year" at the TransWorld RideBMX Nora Cup Awards for his part in the United video. Needless to say he was super stoked and very grateful to all you fans who voted for him. Check out his thank you interview below.
