To properly celebrate Chippa joining Arnette, on Friday night, August 5th, a special “Welcome to the Team” party will take place at the Tiki Bar in Costa Mesa, CA.  Open to the 21+ crowd with support from Shorescrew, this FREE event will kick off at 9:00pm with drink specials in full effect all night and live performances by The Pricks and Snakebit Drifters.

]]> Wed, 03 Aug 2011 23:30:00 +0000 <![CDATA[Del Rocks Heavy Hitter Release Party]]> http://www.arnette.com/blog/del-rocks-heavy-hitter-release-party/ Thursday night, April 28th, was the official product release party for our newest sunglass the Heavy Hitter. 

Held at Cantina Lounge in Fullerton, it was free to get in with drink specials flowin' all night.  Del and Bukue One both gave killer live performances and absolutely blew the doors off the place, like they always do!  The Arnette fam was in the house including new recruits like surfer Mason Ho and skaters Ryan and Scott Decenzo.  Plus, a few lucky partygoers got hooked up with free shades and other exclusive gear autographed by Del.

All-in-all it was an awesome night and everyone had a rad time!  The Heavy Hitter is now available nationwide, so keep an eye out at your local shop.  Special thanks to Shorescrew and Cantina Lounge.

The guest of honor will be Arnette’s new knock-out frame, the Heavy Hitter, which packs a serious style punch!

The party is FREE and will feature LIVE performances by Del, Bukue One, DJ Macavelli and DJ Armpit.  Drink specials will be in full effect all night, and a few lucky party goers will get hooked up with free shades and other Arnette gear.  Doors open at 9pm and it’s 21+ to get in.

]]> Tue, 19 Apr 2011 08:00:00 +0000 <![CDATA[Hippies & Hessians In Newport Beach]]> http://www.arnette.com/blog/hippies-hessians-in-newport-beach/ Last Wednesday night, August 25th, we took our All-Night Antics party series to the Blue Beet in Newport Beach.  With a “Hippies and Hessians” theme, the night saw plenty of peace and love mixed with head banging.

Our boys at Shorescrew lined up three local bands to perform and they all killed it.  Cliff Drive got things going with a killer set of original songs and covers, then Alejandro’s Awesome Surf Band followed with an insane performance, and Snakebit Drifters closed it out.  At one point, Kevin Yoches got over playing the drums and decided to try to play bass with his face and cracked his tooth.

It was a great night as the bands rocked and the drinks were flowing.  Thanks to Shorescrew and everyone who came out!
