Hometown Series with Timmy Reyes

We've all got our daily routine, and for most of us life can get a little monotonous. But for Arnette team rider and Hungtinton Beach local, Timmy Reyes, life seems to be anything but ordinary.

When the rest of us are heading off to school or work, Timmy's living the dream - wake up, grab some coffee, pick up boards from T. Patterson, get the custom 4x4 serviced, play a quick round of golf, drive to the local break or head down to Mexico, and catch countless waves. Not bad for just another day at the office!

Check out Timmy's "Hometown Series" edit and get psyched on the possibilities.

It' no easy feat to nab a good wave in Hawaii, especially when you're surfing Pipeline with 100 of your closest friends. However, that didn't seem to hinder our boy Timmy Reyes who managed to sneak a few gems from the pack. Most notably, his Off the Wall Wave at the very end of this video, now that is just ridiculous. Can anybody say barrel of the season? Take a peek for yourself.

Team Arnette going strong at the Volcom Pipe Pro

Everybody knows that Pipeline is the ultimate proving grounds when it comes to the surf world, so, when the ASP rated 5-star Volcom Pipe Pro comes to town surfers are knocking on the door from everywhere to get in on the action. Lucky for us, all of our heavy hitters came to town to battle it out with the best of 'em and have been fairing quite well. Timmy Reyes scored a bomb in his heat, and, well, Freddy P has just pretty much been doing what he has his whole life...dominate the Pipeline left. Meanwhile, young gun Marc Lacomare has channeled his momentum from his recent win at the World Juniors and has been quietly advancing in his own right. Can somebody say darkhorse? Below are a few photos from the Day 2 action, but for a complete wrap up head over to Surfline and check out their stellar reporting. We'll continue to keep you posted as our boys keep winning.

To watch the event live head here.

"Yo Bruce, let's sit on these other two guys" jokes Freddy with his good friend before paddling out to do work. They both advanced.

Timmy is quite the nomad. It's not uncommon for him to disappear down south for months at a time, in fact, Mexico is his home away from home. With a whole quiver of sleds stashed down there and close friends all around, he's practically a local at the Mexican Pipeline.
